Bob is concerned to raise awareness among church people of the presence, needs, and gifts of people with learning disabilities as well as their carers.

John Carter: Press and Communications Officer

John handles media issues, runs courses in communication skills and helps parishes with publicity and media relations. He edits and writes Together, the monthly diocesan bulletin.

 

Kathryn Fitzsimons: Urban Officer

Kathryn works with parishes in the urban priority areas of Leeds to develop mission through identifying and responding to local issues, and developing community projects.

Alistair Kaye: Armley Deanery Missioner

Alistair works across the deanery developing mission projects and helping congregations to engage with their communities.

Clare MacLaren: Leeds Archdeaconry Children's Work Advisor

Clare's role is to resource and support all who work with children in church by offering and publicising training opportunities, and by giving one-to-one support to individual parishes.

Leslie Morley: Rural Officer

In addition to establishing links with secular bodies involved in agriculture and rural matters, Leslie's role is to support rural parishes in their mission and ministry.

Nic Sheppard: Youthwork Advisor

Nic's task is to support and offer training to parishes in developing church-based youth work and youth projects in the diocese.

Liz Williams: Training Officer

Liz is responsible for training for clergy and lay people, offering training days in parishes and deaneries and help to parishes wanting to organise their own training events.

Paul Winstanley: Stewardship Officer

Paul's role is to encourage, enable,and assist parishes to review their Christian Stewardship and is willing to come and speak to a PCC or Finance group as required.
