Task Groups
There are a number of task groups which meet to discuss, formulate policies and take action over a whole range of issues and concerns. Some of these task groups meet regularly throughout the year. Others may only meet occasionally when the need arises. Some task groups relate to the work of particular resource officers, other task groups undertake the work as a group under the lead of a chairperson/convenor. All the task groups periodically report to the DCM. A task group may come to the end of its useful life, whilst new task groups may begin, depending on the particular issue/subject. It is hoped that each task group will have a good representation of persons from across the parishes of the diocese. Each group has a modest budget to cover travelling and other costs.

The Learning Resource Centre houses books, DVDs, and other materials for use by clergy and laypeople in their ministry and work in the parishes. The books can be ordered through the Centre’s secretary and you are welcome to come and browse.
Shortly we shall put on the website a complete list to date of all our resource material. We welcome suggestions for purchase and we are thinking through ways in which we might house some of the most popular resources in other centres around the diocese.
