For over seven years, the Diocese of Ripon and Leeds have had a joint Education Team with the Diocese of Bradford, in what has been a ground-breaking and highly successful joint venture.

The Director of Education is the Revd Clive Sedgewick, who along with his team is based in Harrogate.

Church Schools admissions policy

The Rt Rev John Pritchard, who is chair of the CoE's Board of Education and the bishop of Oxford, created news when, in an interview to the Times Educational Supplement he said he was urging headteachers to allocate no more than 10% of places to practising Anglicans.
